To run a submod you must select both the main 'A Game of Thrones' mod and the relevant submod in the game launcher.

All listed submods work with mod version 2.2

Westeros Only
With the addition of Essos the demands on the system have increased markedly. This sub mod removes all characters and titles in Essos, leaving only Westeros playable as it was before Essos was added, which boosts performance quite a lot. Most events and systems, e.g. slavery, are still in though.

This doesn't actually remove the new Essos map, as it was easier to do it this way, but this doesn't impact on performance.

Not compatible with extra bookmark submods

Old Style Frames
Replaces the character frames with the old style of frames originally used in CK2

Soundtrack
The mod's soundtrack is available as a standalone mod on Steam Workshop for use in vanilla or any other mod.

Steam users MUST use this submod to obtain the soundtrack for the mod.

Are the mechanics of the valyrian freehold (with rulers being given dragons and valyrian steel swords) limited to that submod, or will the valyrian freehold also function this way in the earlier submod bookmarks?

I get the same problem. All of the pre-doom scenarios causes CTD, while westeros only and century of blood doesn't change the main mod in any way.

(My above problem was fixed a couple of hours after I posted the message, I am just now half a year later coming along to mention it, great mod btw! )

First I want to say thank you guys this made my day its like an early X-mas present.

I am getting the same crash as well when I try to play any of the 4 pre-doom submods. The only one I got to load was the Valyrian freehold but that was only one time every other time It crashed. I exited out right after I started since their was no dragons in the entire world which I though was weird and since I also had some submods active I though they might be the cause somehow so I exited out and tried to reload with just agot and the submod and I got a crash every time since then. Also is there gonna be a hotpatch uploaded today for the main mod to go along with the submods or is that awhile off yet.
